My daughter spent one evening with me trying to get him, and she named him. In all, 3 of us went after him about 7 times in the 3 weeks since he started showing up. Finally got him tonight. Spotted him out the window and then had a bit of trouble getting the scope untangled from the curtain when I put the rifle out the window. The shot entered between the right eye and right ear and I cannot tell that is exited anywhere, but things were a bit messy.

Judging distance through a thermal scope is horrible for me. I can't, especially when combined with magnification. Most of the places I hunt, I have some idea of the approximate distances to known landmarks and I have a 100 yard zero which gives me a lot of point blank aiming at distances much closer and much more distant. As long as the shot isn't over 150 yards or less than 50, I don't worry about correction.
