For some time now I've had a truly mangy coyote on the game cameras. Hardly any fur on him at all. UUUUUGLY. Last night he came out of the woods and made that big final mistake. As ugly as he was, the buzzards were on him early this morning.

Probably the second ugliest coyote I've ever shot. Killed one near Cotulla years ago that was totally free of fur. Probably was a chupacabra.

Man, you don't want a pic of that ugly rascal. Besides, when I got to him this morning, he was partially disassembled by buzzards. Not pretty.

Now I'm looking for a 3 legged one that I have on camera. I call her Tripod, and I removed that one leg with my 270 two years ago. I know it's a female since I got her boyfriend last year when they were paired up. I would take pics of Tripod if I get her.

Sure we want a pic! You can't claim he is super ugly and then not show us how ugly he is! Go ahead. Disgust us!

No hair and wintertime, I'd say you did the human thing along with other reasons.

Good shooting.

Couple years ago I made a tripod bobcat. Doubt it lived, but a 270 90 grain hollow point at about 3400 fps with a pulled shot removed the front left leg.

Hope you get tripod!

I sat in that stand again this evening. Pretty busy with animals. Had a mob of buzzards working the coyote, who continues to get uglier by the day. While the buzzards ate, here came my big old Bobcat. I see him pretty regularly. He scared the poo out of the buzzards, but none of them flew. I guess if one of them flew off, he'd lose his place at supper. The bobcat walked a loop around them and went into the woods. Half hour later, about 12 does also walked a loop around the buzzards to get to the corn. Coyotes were tuning up every now and then, and were pretty close, but none showed up in the open. Dang. But...a nice evening in the country sure beats working.
