Thanks everyone
This has been a cool ride spurred by the video contest we had a couple of years ago
Shot the first couple of pigs for that contest with green lights and a regular video camera ,,lol
I did not even know about the equipment you guys were using
Then Elkaholic winner of that contest introduced me to digital and thermo scopes
And that hooked me ,,,,,, good and bad ,,,,,lol

I toy with doing another video contest
We had ok particapation 1 month but it waned in subsequent months when the MODS moved the thread to general announcements.
The whole goal was to get people involved as you relate!
Maybe in April again???

I won one month. I wish they would let us run it in the hog section. I think it draws attention and creates interest in both the section and the site. It needs time to grow...

Well the way it worked is your entry fee was an item between the value of 20 - 40 bucks and then you'd try and shoot hogs to win the pick of the pot with other prizes going to 2nd place finishers. It even got some looks from dealers and such and they were kicking in products and services. It was all in the name of FUN and getting folks accustomed to videoing and recording hunts. Sorry Lance
