No stand on fence line. i have two stands one on either end of property. Pulled 1 doe 1 spike some nice 8 points and a pretty decent 10 point. I have fenders set up and have two food plots. I'm using my property to its full potential. Guess I'm just in a good spot.

That needs to be in big capital letters.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

6 bucks off of 55 acres? If true I bet your neighbors are proud of you.

roflmao 6 bucks on 55 acres is crazy. Those poor deer don't stand a chance on your land.

A ranch I guide on is low fenced. They have around 2000 acres. Have anywhere from 8-25 bird hunters a day. Each hunter will shoot 75-100 shells each per day. At 5pm they leave the fields and we shoot axis and whitetail almost every hunt. It sounds like WW2 each day out there. And the deer are still there.... I know sounds dumb but its true

We only use our rifle range to check zero at hunting lease. Based on seeing deer in daytime, once that 1st shot fired the deer go primarily nocturnal. Git em on game camera at nite but not much during day. Rutting is entirely different story. Especially true with Big Bucks.

We ranch our 600 acres and drive it every day. At the beginning of the year deer will stand at 50 yards and watch us drive by. By the end of the season they'll be at a dead sprint by the time we're within 200-300 yards. By May, a few months of no shooting, they're back to standing around.
