I have 03 Silversdo 2500 with leather seats. The drivers side is starting to crack. I've heard Marathon are the best but they are $$. Any other recommendations or best place to buy the Marathons?

Spend the money on Marathons and don't look back. By far the best wearing and best fitting seat covers I've ever found.

I've got Marathons on both my F-250 and Tacoma and wouldn't think twice about getting them again for another vehicle. I've had the set on my F-250 for over 7 years and they still look great and fit perfect. Spend the extra money and get a quality set if you plan on having the truck for a long time. Katzkin are good, but a guy i work with has gone through two sets in the past few years from them not holding up. He now has a set of Marathon seat covers and loves them.

Marathons will not let you down

Isn't the best way to save face to keep the lower part shut?

Check out Headwaters seat covers. Ol boy that owns that place used to work for Marathon and tried to buy the company. They wouldnt sale to him so he left and started his own business. I bought a set for my dodge in July 13. Still have em on. Love em. They are a little
Cheaper than Marathons but not much. You can add on accesories such as I did. I added a phone holder(which I have never used), gun holder, bino pouches, pen pouches. I couldnt say enough good things about my covers or the company. It did take me 3 hours to install them though

Those headwaters look just like my marathons but in a different pattern. I have that patter in my Toyota though. I'm not sure about the "better sewn" comment. Looks to me like they are very much alike. I've had this set on since 2007 and they still look brand new. The 'flap' you see in the last picture is a shotgun sleeve they added for me. Shotgun slides all the way through and stays in place.

These are my Marathons in the F-250

I am going off of what Paul told me. Being that he used to design/make their seta covers and now makes his own, I took his word that they were sewn better. I have never inspected a set of Marathons therefore I cannot attest to which is sewn better

Thanks for the replies. I found an upholstery shop to replace the torn leather for much less than a set of seat covers.
