Not going to go into details, but nothing worth getting kicked off from what I understand. Also, I just found out he did pay back the money, about 6 months later. Place is suppose to be the real deal though! Good luck.

Saw this place last year. It's the real deal, awesome looking properties but something didn't feel right so passed it up. Sounds like made a good decision.

I talked briefly to the guy today and he sent some awesome pics. He was a little bit of a fast talker but he did have multiple parcels in Grayson, Denton and Cooke counties, also said he owns an archery shop in Pilot Point...
Am I missing something here? I was thinking about trying to lease something in Grayson from him...

I was on this lease last year. I paid him $3000 and it was only supposed to be me him and his buddy. He had the same exact game cam pictures as last year. He told me he had about 700 ac split up in 3 or 4 tracts. He only brought me to two different places and showed me where I could hunt. One place was about 60 ac and the other was maybe 70 acres ( which is where the pics of the 30"+ buck was on camera ). He told me both places were much bigger than they actually were but I didn't find this out until after the season. Word to the wise, if your going to lie about the size of the place you're leasing to someone make sure it's not for sale... I found out thru the realator how big they were. I only hunted 7 days and seen maybe 3-4 does and NO bucks. He is a nice enough guy but i caught him in a few lies. I know that he does waterfowl and dove outfitting too

Also had pics of him hunting with Michael Waddell and other big name hunters. I guess we'll see. Is the "guy" he leased from the landowner? Pictures could be from anywhere these days. If the guy hunts with celebs and is that big of a hunter that would be a red flag to me. If the place has that good of hunting he would be hunting it himself IMO. Sounds a bit to fishy for me.

I shot a 201 whitetail a few years ago and caught an outfitter using my picture on his website. I had never been to the place or new of this guy. Called him and told him to remove it immediately or I would sue him. Some of these guys will do anything to sell a hunt

The only reason he hunts with Mike Waddel is because Cory grew up with Nick Muntz (sp)in North Dakota. It has nothing to do with his hunting prowess

Do you have those pics available of him with Michael Waddell? He used to always parade those around but they were taken in the '07 season or older
