In the market for another Kennel Jacket. I found a heckuva deal at a Gander Mountain and bought the Mud River Insulate Dixie Cover for $79.99 a few years ago. Long story but I am needing another one. I loved the Mud River and will be getting another one. My question is would the uninsulated cover be fine? I live and hunt around East Texas. It would save me about $50 but just wanted to see what you guys thought before I pulled the trigger. Thanks.

Never tried the uninsulated version. But, IMO it's better to have the insulated one and open the vents than be stuck with the uninsulated on a cold morning.
