How do weather and the mating season of turkey work? I'm a pretty avid turkey hunter and it kinda looks like we may have somewhat of a early spring, so I'm worried that the birds will be done or winding down during season!

Nah...late season is pretty good once the hens which are your competition are finally on the nest, so if the hens start nesting early it may not be as difficult to coax a gobbler.

Still a ways till season...we could have a couple of cold spells right before season that could affect nesting timing. Its mother Nature, just have to adapt.
