I'm sure someone out there has bought a new trigger pack for their 10-22, from Kidd, or Volquartsen, etc. So, if you have an OEM Ruger trigger pack lying around, I would like to buy it. Please PM me.

Note, I just looked it up today and under my account at Brownell's I can order this part for $42.20. It is not worth that much to me. I want to try some modifications to it, etc. I am looking for the person who has thrown one in his drawer and doesn't care for it anymore. Who loves their new part made by Kidd, (insert any 3rd party maker) and who isn't convinced the old Ruger part is a family heirloom worthy of mantle space. Of course I'm exaggerating, hopefully someone chuckled.

Why do I need this? I built a 10/22 style gun. Actually, more a Charger. And before I spend $200-$300 on a Kidd trigger I would love to do my testing with a dummy trigger housing. You need the trigger housing to help support the bolt, and well, fire the gun.

So, I'm not poor, I'm not being cheap, I'm not taking advantage of anyone. I have built a gun that I would like make sure it works before I sink hundreds of more dollars in. Plus, I have 2 or three more to build, so having this trigger pack would be helpful.

Why don't you buy the new BX trigger from Ruger? Sets you back $85 but that's hundreds cheaper than Kidd/Volquartsen

Well, the stock Ruger trigger isn't with $40 ish to me and the BX is really not worth $41 to me. I just want something to function test. Once I have it tested and etc, I will buy either the Kidd single stage or 2 stage.

The whole point of my search? I want a trigger pack for about 30 rounds use per gun I make, 90-120 rounds at the most ever. Why the Ruger OEM? Although it sucks for trigger pull, it is a reliable unit. If I put it in my gun, and it doesn't go "bang" I can pretty much assume I did something wrong. Start with using a fancy Kidd with a 6 oz trigger pull, it probably is fine, but I'd feel better knowing it goes bang first. The BX is a waste of money in my case,

Thank you or the suggestion, for the right person it is a great choice, and I sincerely appreciate you!
