It seems that I keep hitting the mag release button on my lc9s when carrying it. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I am currently carrying the LC9, no issues with it at all. Received the LC9S for Xmas from a good friend but haven't had a chance to get out and put any rounds through it. How do you like the gun other than the mag release issue?

I have had mine for about 3 years. Me being me I modified stuff on it. Galloway trigger springs, SS guide rod, Polished the blueing off the barrel. Talon Grips.

I had two probs and solved both. Light primer strikes. Ordered updated springs from Ruger. Solved.

Had one mag that would drop out of gun when fired. Ruger sent another. Not sure now, but at the time there was a US made mag and one made in Italy I beleive. One came with the gun, one came from MidwayUSA. Both were Ruger products. After some internet surfing found out on of them had that problem a lot.

Otherwise, I really like it and it is comfy and accurate.

I have a Desantis Softuck ISWB holster and anothe leather Desantis OWB holster. I can cover this gun with OSWB with only a normal sized t-shirt.

Mike

Be sure that the Mag release button is not a mag issue. I thought I was hitting the button too. I shot the gun a bunch of time with only two fingers on the gun to make sure of the problem. Problem was the magazine......

I also removed the mag cutout thing. Basically now the gun will shoot with no mag inserted.
