Ok for some reason I want a 338lm ..since I got the cash and wife said green light ..

Anyone ever shoot the savage 338 or the armalite ar30

Best out of the box 338lm I've shot was the Sako TRG 42. The BArrett wasn't near as accurate. The Savage was nice, better than Barrett but not as nice as the Sako.

The Savages have a pretty good reputation, as do the Sako's. Sako had a beautiful .338 LM they called the Long Range Hunter, but I'm not sure that it was available here.

I have a Savage 110BA 338LM.
I am very pleased with it.
(Only ran it to 300 yards so far)

The Lapua ammo seems to fly on a string out of it.
I hope to start reloading for it soon.
I finally rounded up all of the stuff I want to use.
