Has anyone built one by themselves? Similar to the Jager Pro M.I.N.E trapping system? I have an idea on how to build one but was looking for some insight.

All you really need is a GSM switch box and a solenoid to trip the gate. Pretty easy to wire it together.

You have to get the rite board.an the amps rite so you dont blow the gsm board out.

These guys from WIRELESS TRAPS or CELL GATE can set you up with hog pen guillotine gate you can trip from your phone while watching the pen from a camera sending images to your phone. Can have the camera send text alerting you to movement in the pen so don't have to monitor it all the time. Just remember it will wake you up through the night as the critters come in to the pen under the raised gate so turn off if don't want to cellphone trap all night.

So with that gsm switch on eBay there is not monthly cost to run it? I read the description and it said there is no cost because it is set up to reject the call from the desires phone number?

So with that gsm switch on eBay there is not monthly cost to run it? I read the description and it said there is no cost because it is set up to reject the call from the desires phone number? The one I ordered aleko works with calls and off a text message. I will be using Text at 10 cents a message. Really cheap compared to the commercial ones. I do have a covert wireless camera that sends the pictures to my phone so i will know when to trip the hog trap.

You have to keep the SIM card activated. I think the pay as you go at&t phones require a certain amount of usage per month in order to stay active, not really sure on that.

Cost $25 a month to run my trap. Unlimited texting is the easiest way to go. But my camera works off texting. Some work off calls
