Looking for a place to eat there tomorrow. Any suggestions? Is Buck's still there right off I20? I ate there many moons ago, it was decent BBQ. Any other places I need to try?

Still there as far as I know. Some other places off I20 I have not tried. I usually am going or coming when I pass through Sweetwater. The big TA truckstop has a fairly good breakfast buffet.

Mrs. Allens! Best fried chicken and home cooking you've ever had.

Bucks BBQ is nasty. That whole restaraunt Is dirty, and the rest of the food is mediocre IMO. For BBQ, go to Big Boys just South of 20 on 70. As far as Mrs Allens, I was never impressed and don't understand all the hype about it. I ate there once and didn't care for it, went again and same results. Everybody says it is home cooking like your grandmas, but it's not anything like I had growing up. There are not any real good choices in Sweetwater, believe me I have looked since I work there a lot. There is a good Mexican place on Alabama St I think. It is La Cocina. Good luck.

Buck's usually has food, other random places we eat at on our dove hunts will be out of stuff...like CFS.

Buck's isn't anything special. Big Boy's is the best.
