I use a Bushmaster AR-10 in .308 caliber, and I think any soft point bullet between 150-180 grains will work fine. At this time I'm reloading Hornady 180 grain BTSP Interlocks, but when I run out I may switch over to 150 grain SP Interlocks simply because they're slightly cheaper and I think they'll work just as well. I say that because I'm using the 150 grain bullets right now in my .308 bolt action rifle and the hogs seem to drop just as fast. I think anything like Remington Core-Lokt or Winchester PowerPoint bullets would perform equally as well.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

I've used the Remington Core-Lokt 150 grain quite a bit with excellent success. Inexpensive round and runs accurately with no jams in all 3 of my AR's. In the end, the best ammo for your weapon is the one that functions best in your weapon.
