I wanted to post results from my Weekend hunt two weeks ago. First Went to Chalk Creek for my Sika. Thanks Aaron Gage for the referral. Mike and his dad have a first class operation went out of there way to make sure I had a great time and I cant thank them enough.. Started early and didnt get him till late evening. Highly recommend them and I will be back hopefully sooner than later. Hunted the next day with Aaron Laine outside of Buda said he thought I would be happy with this Axis he had seen out there. Saw him a few times and never could get a shot on him as you can see we almost ran out of light before we were blessed to have one more chance. Gorgeous Axis not sure I will ever beat this one but I already told Aaron I will see him next year to give it a shot. Great Guy will be hunting again with him no doubt. Two great Hunts with Two quality Outfitters

I agree with that Chalk Creek is a good place to go and the guys out there are two of the best to deal with...

Congratulations and thanks for posting. Chalk Creek is at the top of my list of places I'm considering going to for some animals I want to get, including a Sika like yours!!!!

Thank you Audie, it took some work but we finally struck gold with a great(and quick) shot. We get to do it again soon on a great Addax hunt! Looking forward to that and enjoyed the Sika hunt as well.
That's a great Axis you got to cap a great weekend.
