I use the Hornady Collet puller, but I like this one as it give you better control of where it contacts the bullet. The pistol one might be tough to use on a progressive press, but the rifle ones will work fine.

$50 shipped for the pistol version that is not well suited for cast. I'll keep banging away I guess.

Pass the gravy.

I've tried this one. I think I paid around $30 for it. It will only pull three calibers though. It may or may not be easier to handle, impossible to say. I WILL say it beats the heck out of the impact puller though.

Ordered a standard rifle, just now. I may hang the kinetic RCBS puller from one of the target holders on the range. Wonder how far away I can hit it?

Keep that Kinetic puller around. Use it to hammer your self when you think about why didn't I come up with something like that.

I've always viewed it as a necessary evil. Nothing I've ever "enjoyed" doing.

I'd be up for shooting mine too...very few things are a bigger pain in the donkey.

For the guys who use a co-ax press with the spring loaded jaws, this link in addition to the same type puller will work: http://www.benchrest.com/hoodpress/bullet_puller.html

Or if you don't want to use your press. I think I'm going to order both soon. I didn't even realize these existed. I was looking at the hood press for a good range press option and saw his bullet puller.
