How many of you feed alfalfa? How many feed big bales (4x4x8 or 3x3x8) how long do they usually last?

I feed it and I like the results. Depends on where Im at on how long it lasts but if you have the time
I would feed smaller quantities because it seems when I feed the big bales a lot will go to waste and scattered
around rather than eaten.

Our neighbors used to be able to drop a regular bale in their yard and watch mule deer all day long. But the new village ordinance put a stop to feeding the animals.
