Wigeon 4 ringer 5 redhead 6. Spoon 7. Gad 8. Ruddy 9. Woody 10. Scaup 11. Mallard 12. Can 13. Hooded. 14. Greater scaup 15. Harli 16. Surf 17. Ww scoter 18. Rbm 19. Common ge 20. Barrows ge 21. OP brazosboyt Pro Tracker B Joined: May 2011 Posts: 1,871	Next year gonna hit the east coast and knock off Eiders, black ducks, and c'mon scoters. Jan 2017 going after king eiders. One thing I quickly learned is that you have to take good shots. It didn't take long to learn to shoot for the head. Several hunts I went 6/6.

OP brazosboyt Pro Tracker B Joined: May 2011 Posts: 1,871	I'm shooting Winchester steel 6 's. They are 3", 3/8 oz , 1500 fps loads. For sea ducks I shot hevishot 6's and 4's. I shoot them out if a briley ported IM choke. You'd be shocked how hard it hits birds inside if 35 yds.

Those buggers are like armored cars. That said a good head shot will do the trick. Got to get them close with the pipe. I have hunted with one for years and they can do the job quite nicely.
