Any feedback on Mountain Creek Ranches Hunt Club? My Father in Law wants to do it, as it's inexpensive and he's too old to mess with feeders, stands, etc. It's in the Medina area. Not my type of deal, and I'm skeptical, but it's his deal. I didn't find anything using the search function on THF. Mountain Creek Ranches Hunt Club

Google is your friend on this one.... Yep this - also ask on other forums - texas bowhunter, 2cool, etc. I can also tell you that over my 55 years of hunting I have not seen a commercial hunting "club" that panned out - crowded, shot out, etc. That is not to say they do not exist by any means but I would tread very carefully. Have him asked for a list of members so he can contact them to ask questions about how it is run.

My dad hunted there a few years ago for a bit. Said it seemed pretty shot up. One decent buck a few hogs and a mt lion were shot during my dads 12 or so days hunted. It's pretty crowed and looks to be pretty shot out ranches. Since that area normally has a ton of wt deer. Haven't heard from anyone else that's been there since.

Couple of friends thought it would be a cheap way to hunt. Waste of time and money neither one shot anything other then a hog

Did some research and these people have been ripping off hunters for YEARS! I just don't understand why hunters continue to give them money and why the state hasn't gone after them......
