Recently built a 6.5 Grendel from all quality parts. When shooting it is sub-MOA, feeds and extracts as it should. Occasionally a spent case is not being ejected. I'd say 1 in 10 which is way too much for me. The bolt is made for the barrel by a reputable manufacturer. I am wondering how to solve this. Thank you for the replies.

Where is your ejection pattern when it does eject?

You're likely over or under gassed

More forward than back. Gas block on straight and running carbine weight spring/buffer.

You seem to be overgassed based on your description.

I would go with a Heavier buffer and optionally a stiffer spring ( Wolff).

Handy chart:

bside,

Thanks for the visual, I've never seen that. I'm a lifelong bow hunter that has recently gotten into guns the past couple years. I'm gonna try a heavier buffer.
