I have loaded a lot of 7MM Rem but this is my first foray into the Weatherby side. It will be used primarily mule deer hunting in Terrell county, 100- 400 yards. I realize that is a huge variance but....anybody have a favorite load for this caliber? It's a FN action with a 26" sporter barrel

RL25 near max is my go fast powder and for best accuracy and lowest extreme spreads I like a load of 77.5 grains of H1000 pushing a 140gr Accubond about 3250 fps.

My 7 Rem Mag load might do well in the Weatherby. Need a 1:9" twist.

71.2 gr of Retumbo, 180 gr Berger VLD
