Man those Cubs and their pilots are impressive!
Is there lots more friction to the water versus a hard runway? And how old is that plane?

He didn't have any cargo so he just pulled it just as he got on step.
There is alot more friction taking off on floats, and they are heavier. The plane was originally built in the 40's. (100 hp)

A Otter would have just landed on the sandbar.... no floats needed
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

You could hog hunt out of a J3 as long as you weren't flying into a headwind, in that case the hog would outrun you.
