looking for coyotes this evening, but all I saw were deer - everywhere I looked. Does mostly, but here came two 8 points that I had never seen. They all gathered at the corn pile, and even though there was not real rutting action, I think they were at least flirting. The guys used their antlers to get the ladies off the corn, so I guess love is out of the question.

I wonder when the antlers drop in central Texas.

In Kendall County they started to drop around March 1st with most of them dropping around 15th of March. Had a few before and after these dates. As far as rutting activity you could still see a doe fawn born last May or June heat cycle. I have seen bucks chasing doe fawn the first week of March in South Texas. I also found 2 bucks dead that were locked up from a fight the first week of March. They had only been dead a day or so.

With as late as our rut was this year it wouldn't surprise me at all to see more running this weekend.

KCH, no I haven't. I'm a bit embarrassed that I still haven't posted one picture on the forum. I did download the pictures from the camera to the PC. And I did download the photo app that one of ya'll suggested. I just haven't fiddled with the actual posting.

You don't even need a photo app, just click on the photo upload icon in the posting form and upload from there and follow the directions, its a piece of cake

When I get back to the house, I'll give it a try. Thanks.
