I picked up my new pup today, she's an 11 week old vizsla. My daughter named her ruby. So far she's been awesome but let's see how the first night goes. It's been over 11 years since I've had a young pup.

Very pleased with her natural retrieving at this point. She fetched a ball 9-10 times and the canvas dummy 4-5

Congratulations on the new pup. Sounds like you have a good one on your hands. You may or may not want advice but that many retrieves is way too many for a young pup. 2-3 is plenty. Put her up wanting more.

Yeah i've heard that, I probably should have stopped but she kept butting it my lap. I think from here on out I'll do 2-4 in the morning then do the same in the afternoon.

1st night was pretty good. She only woke up once to go outside. She did her business then right back to sleep.

Bought a few wings and started her out last night with the wing on a string trick. At first she just wanted to attack and grab it. But after about 30 seconds she started pointing. Pretty cool to watch a pup so intense. After a while she locked up and held point for about 2 minutes.
