This would also be great, night or day, for handicapped hunters or people with the use of only 1 hand/arm. My grandfather would have loved to have one since he had only 1arm...thanks to a bomb from a German Stuka. It was very hard for him to hold a gun up to his eye, but having this would have allowed him to rest the gun on something and still see through the scope.

I would imagine it would also work wonders as a visual aid for instructors trying to teach people how to adjust their aim using the crosshairs, or zeroing in their scopes.
