Lay out puff pastry. Line with Prosciutto. Brown mushrooms in butter and port... lots of port...




Spread mushrooms on Prosciutto.


Place seared backstrap on mushrooms


Wrap backstrap and coat pastry with egg wash


Bake until pastry turns nice golden brown


Slice


Serve


Die a happy human.

-invite JDK1985 and his wife over for dinner
-ask him to cook the Wellington
-Profit

Made this last night, HOLY SMOKES!!!!! This is awesome, absolutely fantastic. I had never worked with puff pastry before and had to do a little patchwork but it came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe.
