I don't have one but a lot of guys have Tipton & seem to like them..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

I'm going to have to say no to the Tipton, I e got "the best little gun vise" or whatever it's called. It ain't worth a darn to hold a rifle steady, way to much flex in the plastic and I had to get another clamp to help the plastic hold the gun tight. Very disappointed in it. I'm returning it and getting the CTK metal vise

I just went through this and don't like the tipton or the like because they can move around on the table. So I bolted a 4 inch vise to the end of my bench and got rubber jaw inserts for it and I just wrap a piece of leather around the barrel then tighten it into the vise. Holds it very steady and I can move it to different positions. Works great for me.

I didn't care for the Tipton. I've been using the MTM Site-in-Clean Rest. You can't lock anything down, but it does wedge into the rubber ends nice and secure. I wanted something taller to use for a bolt action or a pistol grip AR. Cheap and it works for me so far. The Lyman Revolution looks pretty interesting.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.
