I want to install my own scope on a build that is almost ready and I find myself in need of a torque driver that is in inch pounds. I was told to look at the Wheeler but it looks like there are too many bad reviews for my liking. Anybody know of a good quality one that would fit my need? Thanks in advance.
Thanks, John

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

This is what I use http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/general-gunsmith-tools/wrenches/general-wrenches/multi-torque-driver-kit-prod66350.aspx?avs|Style_1=Torque%20Wrenches&avs|Manufacturer_1=BORKA%20ENTERPRISES
Wow, they've really gone up in price since I bought mine.

I think most of the bad reviews on the FAT Wrench are from people that did not take the torque back to 0 when storing. I have never measured mine for exact accuracy but know that it feels like it 'breaks' at the same poundage on all 8 screws when I install a scope. I believe having a consistent breaking point to be more important than exact poundage, which it may have anyway.

I use a Wheeler FAT wrench and it's been great. I always put all my torque wrenches to zero or near zero before I put them up. Only part I don't like is that the Wheeler needs to come with sockets as well. At least a 1/2" for the picatinny scope rings.

I laughed at the wheeler fat wrench when i bought one, seemed like a cheap made toy, sent it back and got my refund. Went on ebay and bought a used utica, nicely designed piece of equipment!

I'm looking at picking up the Neiko or Weaver torque driver. They have good reviews on Amazon. Anyone use either of these?
