Anyone have any reviews or experience with the boss buck protein feeders or metal ones like the all seasons.

I looked at the 600lb Boss Buck at Cabelas. There wouldn't be anything left but the steel poles after the coons and squirrels in my area got done with it.
It gets pretty good reviews online though. Personally, I would go with the All Seasons EVO.

I have a 1200 lb boss buck feeder and it had been great! I also bought the broadcaster so I can use it all year. A lot of guys on our lease use them and don't have any issues either.

we have a guy on our lease that has one, has the attachment to go from gravity feed to the timer spinner. its the best feeder on our place, but here it comes.... he put it under a limb a VERY small limb I might add squirrels or coon on top and ate a hole in it.

5 feet one way or 30 seconds to break a limb off would be the difference in 5 starts and a hole in the lid.

the legs are to straight up and done coon can NOT climb them.

I don't know if this will help at all, but, I bought the stuff from boss buck to make a protein feeder out of a 55 gal drum and it works real good

I have a 600 timed and a 350 free feed from boss buck and have been very pleased. The hoppers have withstood everything (including coons) and work great.

I have 3 Boss Buck 350 lbs Feeders and 6 Red Neck T-Post Feeders. I like both. I will add more Red Neck T-Post Feeders as you can put more out in more places. The Red Neck Feeders are easy to use and are easy to fill.

We have (3) of the metal all seasons but if you can find them get the ones with the round tubes. They don't clog up. In about 3 weeks I am bringing one of them back to town to sell. We have (1) we don't use. They are the 2,000 lb ones. No problems on them at all. Just need touch-up paint on them every 7-8 years.

I'm really thinking about converting mine to a time release feeder.

round tubes - you referring to the down spout, the feed trays, or both?

Yes the (4) round tubes or downspouts that look like an Octopus from All Seasons. I looked and for some reason they don't sell them anymore. I have no experience with their new set ups. See if this link works. We paid like $800 for them. I live in Austin and will be bringing it into town Feb. 21st. Going to sell on craigslist.
