This is the video from a hunt a week or so back, the video will show us through the I2 third gen pvs-14 then will show what I see with the apollo thermal at the same time. It is very dark and humid there is a glow in the sky coming off a power plant that actually makes it harder to see in some of the shots, you will see the ir lasers illuminating the fog also.

Cool stuff. Here is a thermal vs night vision video from a 5X thermal and a 5X gen 2 WPT taken of the same scene at the exact same time

I'd like to be able to translate the opposite configuration to viewers.

Thermal spotters with I^2 gen 3 shooting.

Near impossible to capture action like you're seeing through a recorder with I^2.

Factoring cost the way you show it

Gen 3 pvs 14 with iPhone adapter and phone about 4k plus 5k in thermal shooter = 9k

Other way around, thermal spotter 2k with gen3 m845 or d740 or WPT at 3k = 5k

Good vid, was nice seeing you at SHOT congrats on LWRC ProStaff selection

I would love to own a thermal but us working guys have a hard time shelling out that kind of money to shoot a pig or 2.

Love watching the videos and dreaming how easy it would be.

Our rental program is for workin guys. You might be surprised how cheap a thermal rental can be. Split it up with a hunting buddy and its less than gas to get to the deer lease.

I have looked at your site many times and would rent a few to try out before I bought. But I know if I rent one I will end up buying one and then the trouble begins...
