Ill be in Austin until noon on the 21st and then have a few days to kill before needing to be back in MN on Sunday. Trying to find a good place to hunt for a couple of days near Austin or northern part of the state. Originally was looking for a hog hunt as we dont have hogs in MN. Would consider a meat deer/hog hunt also as the meat is a little low in our freezer this fall. Gun hunt is preferred as I have never bow hunted.

Thank you. Been looking on line for a hunt but just seem to get over loaded by all the places down there that offer hunts. This ranch style of hunting is all new to me. Looking forward to giving it a try.

Still looking to book a hunt for the 22 and 23rd of January. Have contacted a few places that are either booked up or havent heard back from. If anyone has any other recommendation I would be happy to hear them.

Had a great hog hunt this last week at Wild Turkey Ranch north of Stephinville. Shot two hogs. 90# and 135#. Great place to stay. Great cleaning station and cooler. Bruce Meet me at the gate, showed me around and checked up on me from time to time. Was pretty much on my own from there. That was perfect for me. Lodge even had a pool table in it. Look forward to doing this again.
