Looking for a quail hunt a reasonable distance from DFW. Last year I had one setup but the night before the hunt is when my mom had her accident.  Birds seems to be even more plentiful this year, so hopefully I can find a hunt.

I have a guide available next weekend and the 13-15 in New Mexico in the southeastern portion we are having a great season and still have plenty of birds. we hunt mainly blue quail but can also hunt mearns if desired. most days we shoot a large number of birds over points even the evil blue quail. if interested call steve at 575-706-1857 website southwesthunts.com

Is about 3.5hr to 4.5hr drive ok for you, thats about how far you have to go this year to get into decent birds.
