Yes he could make an interesting movie scene that way. Maybe he was inspired by the "Hunger games". But for practical applications . . .

What I thought interesting was shooting off the right side of the bow.

Shooting off the right side makes more sense for speed shooting and volleys of arrows like they shot
during ancient battles. I am most impressed that he can shoot left or right handed at that speed. That would be a very handy thing in the middle of a fight.

I didn't pay that close of attention. In fact, I don't think I watched the whole video. But the A.D.D. kicks in and . . .

If one has surpassed minimums of Saracen Archery, then by today's terms he is a master. I dwoubt he's pulling much though; the archers of old (Ottomans and Arabs) pulled enough to kill people at distances over 100yd-wearing armor.(yes he does so, but at a short distance, without being in a medieval battlefield.)

Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed the video. up

You think this guy would have any trouble at a hundred yards? He has shot so much that it is beyond thinking. Put him on that battlefield and I would put good money on his abilities. Master now as well as centuries ago.

I read recently that a scientist studied the amount of time most people train to master their craft. Often it is in excess of 10,000 hours. This guy probably has spent well over that.

You're absolutely right. But i disagree on the battlefield point; it's one thing to practice, it's another to kill. Imagine having to switch between shooting at enemy archers, shooting people charging at you, and fighting "hand to hand", all within a matter of seconds. I meant "old" battlefield, of course. He is definetly a master archer-he is not a master bowman pawn.

Just conversation. Not stir

You're missing the cross over of training and the real thing. There are scores of endeavors that the training can only simulate the real thing. Take my profession for instance. When I was 18 and in Fire Academy we built fires in burn buildings made of concrete and steel. The structure won't catch on fire, but the contents inside is on fire. We did it repatedly in prepararion of the structure that is on fire after the 9-1-1 call. Since the days of being an 18 year old I've been in hudreds of "the real thing" and none have been as hot as those training fires.

And I can go to rifle shooting. My range has steel targets every hundred yards. I shoot them weekly. I can't very well tie hogs up every hundred yards and shoot them weekly. But of late I've made several solid kill shots on animals outside 500 yards. Every year I kill praire dogs very far. And I can do that because I train on steel. The fundamentals are the fundamentals. When you practice something so much that it becomes muscle memory, when the stress of a kill shot or in your argument battle, is applied you can rise through the stress and fall back on your hours of training. This archer would do exactly that. He has made the bow an extension of his body.
