But DANG IT MAN, we need more than that. What gun/load/bullet? Where was the hit? How did the bullet perform? How far did he run? What brand of Scotch did you drink after the butchering? When can we come for dinner?

Outstanding. Hunted NM 1st time Jan a year ago. No elk but a good trip. Lots closer than SW Colorado where we hunted for years.

Agree would like to know load particulars.

I used a 300 grain TC Shockwave Sabot with 100 grains of Blackhorn 209 powder.
