Looking for 500 - 2000acres to lease within 3 hours of jacksonville tx. I have subscribed to a lot of lease finders with no luck in the past 2 years. Looking for a whole lease, not a spot on a club. I have tractors, dozer, trackhoe and dump truck and can keep the place nice or help make improvements. Would love to find a place to have long term. Thanks for any help u can give!

I don't know if you have checked on Campbell's website but they have a number of tracts up for bid now and will probably have more as spring approaches- www.cglease.com. I have three leased from them now, all in one county, and will be looking at another in a different county to give me another buck chance in the AR counties.

Yea. I have looked at all their open leases. Figure that the best time will prolly b around august before lease money is due. Just seeing if I could find something before then.

If you find one,and need 2 others to go in on it, I am also looking for myself and my son. I live in Cypress and would like to be within 2 hours of lease.

Westonh, Campbell had 28 tracts up for bid up to last week when the bid time ended and as of yesterday they only had three left open. As a general rule you pay their leases the end of June so waiting until August for one of their leases will be too late. They will probably have more this spring up for bid so keep your eyes open.

Can Campbell's smaller leases be worthwhile? Just trying to learn.

The smallest tract I lease is 62 acres. I don't hunt it but have friends that do. I am not sure what has been killed or even seen but I know the first year I had it I got lots of deer pictures and even some of turkeys.

I haven't been on here for a while. Anybody know any sites I could check besides Campbell?
