Found this on craigslist. Thought id pass it along. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT SO PLEASE DONT MESSAGE ME. Looking for long term management minded hunters who are safe and follow rules to fill 4 spots open on our deer lease to make a total of 10 guns. Hunters must be comfortable aging deer on the hoof. Our lease is in Christoval which is about 20 min south of San angelo. Ranch is 3,200 acres and we have the rights for approximately 2,600 acres. There is a small cabin on the ranch and trailers are also welcome. We have brand new rv hookups that were put in this past year. Each paid hunter must provide 1 protein feeder. Ranch owner will fill all protein feeders. This is to keep members from having to worry about making trips just to fill protein and to ensure that feeder stays full. We feed protein march 1st - August 31st. Protein and cost to fill has already been factored in lease price. Only guest allowed are spouse and children under 21. They can shoot under your quota as long as accompanied by paid member. A bunch of whitetail!! Trophy WT bucks have to be 4.5 or older. We have Blackbucks on the ranch and we will determine by october if we will be shooting any blackbuck DOE. Only one Blackbuck BUCK has been given to us and we will draw a name out of a hat once lease is filled to see who gets it. The buck will be $500 extra to the landowner for whoever gets drawn. I am going to the lease Jan24th and 25th to do work and I can show then as well. Drinking is allowed only at camp and must be done responsibly. This is not a beer lease. If you seem like the right fit for us, we would love to have you. Annual lease $3,230 a spot which covers electricity as well. For more info email Zach. http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/wan/4837666565.html

Just out of curiosity why did you get off?

If anyone has any questions about this place let me know.

My brother and I looked at this place this weekend. We got on it. It's a really good looking ranch and the guys that showed us it (Zach & Buck) were great. We saw deer all over the ranch. Over 30 whitetail and several black buck. All in about 4 hours time on the ranch.

Bowie and Crockett. On the west side because it looked thicker. We had a hard time picking because we saw more deer on the east pastures. That country has a lot of deer. We left about 5:30 and from the lease gate to Christoval (18 miles) we saw 50+ deer.

It's a good ranch. They have some great deer and seem to run a good lease.

Good area out that way for sure. I hunted that area for years and just dropped my lease out there last season. Lots of deer, turkeys, and some exotics. Very fun area to hunt. I dropped my lease because I was tired of driving 7 hours to get there with gas at $4/gallon. I wish I had kept it now. Deer in the 150's are very doable and some larger ones. Biggest one we killed was 167. Good luck!

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum but just wanted to let y'all know that we are still looking for a group of 3 to complete our lease. Let me know if there are any questions that I can answer.
