Your danged bolt's on the wrong side, JG. How in hell you ever hit anything at all?
The winter wheat on our place has been good to me also. I have to look out the back window of my blind now and then and if I'm lucky I'm rewarded with a nice view of a coyote who thinks he's sneaking across the field. A few have made it, but a few have not.
The one I missed was the closest...go figure.
It seems the coyotes were WAY more interested in the cattle last year when they were cows-n-calves, but this year the land owner leased out to a steer operation. They completely screwed up the deer hunting and the coyotes don't seem to be near as interested.
