Just returned from a great 10 days in Texas hunting and great road trips that I don't get in Kodiak, Alaska lol.. Went hunting Aoudad Again with Mike and had an AWESOME hunt. The food was delicious and LOTS of it. Samantha the cook does an amazing job! My Guide was Steve Gamron and is a mountain climbing beast..just what I like! My brother was successful taking his first Aoudad with Mike and guide Tyler. Its a beautiful Ram and very happy for my brother! I hiked and hunted hard for the whole hunt..we saw over 120 sheep, and some big rams. My hunt ended without a pucture of me holding a ram,...but I have hundreds of Images in my head of the Mountains ...the sheep, being with my brother and Nephew,...and one Giant Ram that eluded me and which I left on the mountain. I will never forget how black that ram was from the fresh digs he was rolling in or the way he ran like a horse chasing a hot ewe all over the mountain! Looking at those massive horns sweeping waaay back over the top of his neck.The memories are my trophy! Thanks Mike...we will hunt together sometime again! Eric Wietfeld
