In all seriousness, people tell me I'm a liar when i tell them I've shot and hit a 4'x4' bard with regularity (approx 5 out of 8 shots) with my 1911 and glock 40 before. It's not impossible once you get dialed in. he hit center of that balloon. that was awesome!

You hit a 4'x4' target at 1000 yards with 1911 and Glock?

I really do think I could do that. 5-10 yards. Keeping on target is more than doable with that big !@#$ break.

Whoops, forgot to list distance. No, my glock and 1911 shot was not at 1000yds. I doubt i can hit a 4'x4' target at 1000yds with my best rifle.
I did it at approximately 225yds.

To me it looked like he didn't really hit the balloon. Looking at where the balloon is on the target and where the spot is on the metal plate afterwards, I would say a fragment from the bullet broke the balloon. Not to say he couldn't hit it, just looks like the impact is too far from where the balloon was to have hit the balloon.

That old fella must have better eyes than me. Don't think I would be able to see that balloon at 1000 yards to hit it.

It is not only keeping on target, but six shots in under one second. Watch the action in slo mo as soon as it chambers it fires again.

Yea, I know some open sight specialty shooters can shoot great distance without any optics but it boggles my mind how they can even see that far.

Was about to say if you can hit consistently at 1K yards with a 1911 or Glock I'm just going to go ahead and forfeit the Hunters shoot this weekend.

Jerry is awesome. I was fortunate enough to meet him and chat for about 30 minutes before he shot a stage I was working at the Larue Multigun Championship a few years ago. For a man with such an incredible talent, he is very, very humble. His daughter Lena is incredibly polite too, and boy can she shoot!

I also buy all my 45acp/9mm bullets from Bayou Bullets, which is owned by Jerry's brother Donnie. He makes a great product and is an awesome guy to do business with.
