If you are going to purchase one, why don't you give us a review?

Aren't you going about this the wrong way. Why do you need reviews if you're going to buy one anyway? confused2

I ordered it on-line, and while I'm waiting on it I just thought I'd see what anyone had to say about it.
And yes, I will give my own review after I've used it a while.

That's a LOT of money for a bag used to melt ice. I noticed yesterday that Sutherland's on Camp Bowie West sells Yeti's.

I found a review -

Yeti has broken the barrier into marketing Nirvana. They could sell a koozie for $100 if they wanted to. Seriously.

You mean you haven't seen the koozie coming out in the spring...

Thanks Cast for finding that review.
Yeah it's expensive, but it's what I'm looking for as a person who uses and abuses coolers on a daily basis. Something that won't fall apart and have to be replaced often, and won't leak.

That could be next. They are already selling a cup for $40...

That product looks great and I'm sure works great. My guess would be it costs around $100 to manufacture. Certainly no more than $150. They are killing it.

I am guilty of buying this cup,but I have to say it was worth it! Spend all day in the pool with it and never have to add more ice... only more whiskey!

I'm not complaining. They make great stuff and people will pay for great stuff. Power to them. It's the American way. If I had a regular use for it (fly fishing, etc.) I might get one.

Within a year or so their competitors will have similar products in the $200 or less range I'm betting.

I am a dealer for them. In all honesty we are not making as much as everyone thinks. Not to mention it is not cheap to be in business these days. We have to make enough to pay the bills and have something left. That is not directed just at you NP and I am not trying to be rude in the comment. But I hear people say all the time how much mark up is in it, and it is not as much as some think.

No offense taken. I have no doubt the dealers are not killing it, as markups on most items are not astronomical. It is my belief Yeti is though. Kinda like the gas sellers vs. Exxon.

True. I don't know their exact markup. But like any good company they are not hurting...

They are in a great spot. Their brand is so established and in demand at this point they can make the dealers hold the line on retail pricing. And folks still pay it. Not many have reached such rarified air.

THIS. My $40 igloo keeps beer real cold. YETI is a status symbol brand.

Sorry but I disagree. Take your igloo fill it with 30 pack of water 40 pack of Gatorade and a 30 pack of dr pepper. Top it off in ice. Throw it down in the mud then left at least 40 people of all sizes use it as a step to get on a shooting platform and let me know how it holds up. We did it with mine today at the match and got it covered in mud. I promise you one of the five igloos I have would not have taken that.
I buy and sell yeti coolers because you have to try really really hard to break them. And even then it is hard to do.

YETI is by far the best product on the market in its space. I just can't justify the expense and I'm not hurting for money. Maybe santa clause will bring me one.

It was hard for me to swallow the price on the 120 too. But when I have five igloo 120 that are sitting there and everyone of them needs to be thrown away I quickly realized the benefit. Mine has already saved me more money than I spent. It also doesn't hurt to know someone....

If you have take your boat offshore for tuna where you might spend 3 nights
afloat w several hundred pounds of delicate fish needing to be iced down
and kept cold You ll appreciate the value in Yeti coolers

If you're just puttin' around; drinking 50F beer is fine then a Coleman is all you need

My boat carries 5 Yeti coolers , up to 330 qts,,, when my friends see now well those
Coolers retain ice they all want one or 2

Like fine durable tool, Yetis are worth their asking price

My only regret is getting a 120. Should have got the 160. But like garages they are never big enough.
