I took the family up to the ranch for the last weekend of Late Antlerless/Spike. Nothing died, but we sure had a great time, and I made some special memories with my son.  The whole crew  All smiles after the first hunt  Showing off his "gun"  Little sister insisting in driving. She's a little "me too" with everything they do.     Dealing with a short attention span.

Thanks y'all. Good times. Looking forward to the future years. Those wienie dogs your hog dogs? Ha! I wouldn't put it past them to try. A couple months ago one found a burrow, disappeared under ground for a few minutes, and came back up dragging a possum out that was bigger than he was. 12 lb going on 50.

I remember the days, good job dad.
When mine were young they always wanted to go hunting, or just outside somewhere.
Now when they are home from college or just back in town for a few days it's "where are we hunting?" I always have something pre-planned.
The good times really never end, they are just different.
