On this hunt a friend shot a ringneck and it dove on him. He thought it was lost. I walked the bank to the area where it dove and said, "find the bird" and off she went scanning the bank until she dove into some heavy cover and flushed it out the other side back into the lake. Called her to heel and buddy finished the cripple and she brought it in. The other two guys thought that duck was going to get away but they hadn't hunted ducks with Daisy before.

This was also after she did a blind double retrieve. I sent her with a hand line and back command. One guy asked, "So you can just tell your dog to swim in that direction?" Yes.

Yes, 7 year old labs like their sleep after a hunt. At least we weren't hunting a river she has to fight the current on.
