Now, what does everyone do during the off season....here in Nova Scotia Canada we build fish shacks and set them on the ice for some ice fishing with spears. Can anyone spot the fish, the tip of the spear, and the bait line?

Framing of the shack is now complete and time for a brown pop...aka Vitamen O

My ole buddy stands in the shack as it is 90% completed....he is only 5'1"

Dragging it across the ice on our homemade sled....

Set up and ready for action....

Can you spot the end of the spear, the smelt(fish), and the bait line hanging in the hole???

I sure miss ice fishing

Never understood ice fishing..... I mean, by the time you get a hole cut out big enough for the boat... where are you going to go?

I fish during the offseason. However, I could really catch up on my whiskey drinking if I sat in an ice fishing shack all day staring at a hole and waiting for a bite.
