spring/summer food plots?

What are you guys planting, if you're planting anything? I'm in Navarro county. The area I'd be planting is fenced off from cattle.
I was thinking maybe some forage soybeans, and something? lab lab? Something that will give the deer some protein help. I've got up to about 1.5-2 acres I could plant total.

Forage soybeans would be a good choice to see how it goes this first year.

Soybeans would be good for sure. Iv always liked cowpeas and clover during the spring. Toss in a bit of mixed bird seed also just for grins
