Had a trashcan in the garage and some wood. Just like that, I now have an incredibly redneck protein feeder. Will be tposted down and tied to a tree. Over/under on complete collapse is 3 weeks. Will have camera on it to verify.

Fantastic carpenter skills. Why T post just a ratchet strap. I believe a ratchet strap would crush the trash can. I think it will work as it you have it, but I think it's life span will be pretty short.

Have added cross beams all over to strenghen the frame.
It'll be t posted and tied to a tree, but I guarantee the squirrels, coons, and hogs will tear this bad boy up quick.
Should get it all on film. Going to be funny/pathetically sad to watch.
But that's okay. That's all part of the experience.

I think you will be disappointed after a hard rain. If your going to spend the money on protein do it right.
