I need fast age opinions. These two bucks look very similar to me. I believe they are both 2.5 year olds. One is a spike, with basically good physical appearance. The other is a very promising 8 point.

Thoughts? Are they the same age?

Thanks in advance!

If they're both 2.5, there is an issue with the spike that needs to be resolved

Not a spike killer myself, but, dang, that might be a good candidate!

That spike is too old for his own good! Shoot him!

Leave the 8 pt for next year or the years after, he looks good. Spike, not so much. As healthy as they look, spike should be mucho bigger by now

He does look older than a yearling, but someone on here said they had never seen a spike older than 1.5. stir
