Want to pick a few factory loads to try in my Ruger American, 22" barrel. Anybody got any recommendations on what to try? Should I go 120 or 140 gr? Main quarry will be central TX whitetails, possibly pigs at some point too.

140 fedral fusion has proven very deadly and accurate for me.

Hornady and Fed Fusion were my go-to's for my 7mm-08. Oddly enough, the most accurate factory round what the Prvi Prvatie 140 grain. It was also the cheapest
