I reload with the Lee Hand Press, but I need to use the Willis Collet Belted Magnum die. This die is unusual in that you screw it in from below and therefore it won't work with the Lee Hand Press (or the basic Lee Reloader press which is the only reasonably-priced bench press I'm aware of).

I need a press where there is plenty of space between the ram and the rear support column. I'm not even going to mount this press since I don't have a bench -- I'll just hold it in my lap, it doesn't have to be in good condition at all, as long as it works well enough for what I want it for. I'm hoping someone has one around that's just collecting dust that they would be willing to part with for a modest price.

wont work, even with putting the locking-nut on top?

Is your handpress the breechlock or old regular; seems like it would work with the breechlock one (what I use) and putting the nut on top.

I am sure there is someone close that has a mounted press that will help you. You will look like a monkey copulating with a football trying to do that in your lap. PM sent

Okay, I got one! Thanks guys. And yeah, it would probably look funny doing it in my lap. I'll just C-clamp the press to my work bench in the garage.
