It's just a figure of speech.

Natural causes may have been a better choice of words.

Date is correct on the pic and I found him last weekend.

I beleive he died after duck season closed last year. Where I found him, I beleive I would saw him there dead during duck season, he was on the trail to a tank we hunt.
