I currently have a Sig 716 in 7.62 and 2 short barreled AR 556 pistols (10.5, 7.5). I am wanting to get a suppressor that will work on all 3. I know that I can get a 762 can and it will work on a 556 with the proper mounts. Obviously a 762 suppressor will not be as quiet on a 556 as a 556 can would be. What do y'all recommend from personal experience? Budget is $1500 or less

Actually, the larger volume in a 7.62 suppressor can make the 5.56 quieter than a 5.56 suppressor. I believe the Saker 762 measured quieter than the Saker 556 when both shooting 5.56. And you can change the end cap to a 5.56 end cap and get it a little quieter. I have the AAC SDN6.

Many manufacturers only warranty a suppressors down to 10" barrels.

There have been multiple threads recently. They should be found by going up to 5 pages back

Make sure you go titanium - its not worth waiting the 6months just to realize you hate the weight of the steel

I am waiting on my Templar Tactical (Crux) Suppressor, the Nemesis 30. It's a small 6" titanium can, engineered and patented baffles, for 308, and rated for 300 Win Mag. It's the top when it comes to design, recoil reduction, and quietness. The PMS mounting of the suppressor to the brake is as precise as you can find.

Gemtech Sandstorm is a titanium 762 can that is light weight and in your budget. You'll have to do some research to see what minimum barrel length they recommend.

Saker 7.62 or maybe the new Omega. I think the saker mounting system may be better but who knows.

I have a Surefire Socom for my 7.62 and 5.56s. It is a bit heavy, but I like it. It cost $1,400 from SAW. The flash hider/adapters are $150.00.

Yeah they are. My Team SAC rifle is in 6mm Creedmoor with a 23" barrel and JEC brake. 2" of the suppressor covers the brake so it only adds 4" to the over all length of the barrel. It's quieter than I expected being that small.

thanks for the input everyone. i'm leaning toward the Saker 762. How about pistol suppressors? Im thinking something that will run on my 45s and my 9's. I like the AAC Ti-Rant 45s or maybe a thompson poseidon

yep, Templar / Crux makes NICE cans
I have a Nemesis30, Archangel and another Nemesis30 and Ark30 coming

and being able to mate it with the JEC brake is best of both worlds
I am probably going to do 23" with my 6.5 creedmore being built and the JEC

Most unpleasant experience today..
At thr range surrounded by unsuppressed rifles.

Been spoiled by private ranges where everyone is shooting with a can.
I doubled up on ear protection.

Take a look at Allen Engineering suppressors, made by Ron Allen (the guy that built all the cans for OPS inc. I run his AE30 on my 300WM precision bolt gun, my Daniel Defense 5.56 and my 300 blackout SBR. They are all extremely quiet, and extremely accurate with minimal POI shift....and you could get 2 of them for $1500. The only downside is that they are a little heavy. Still, they are insanely quiet and have improved the group sizes on all of my rifles. It really is a fantastic can for $675.

the Ti-Rants are solid cans, or the SiCo octanes are solid as well. I would prob go w/ SiCo since AAC is probably gonna go down in flames

what makes you think AAC is going down in flames?

Not a baiting question, I know nothing about them.

I seriously doubt AAC will "go down in flames" since they have the most money behind them to keep them going.

down in flames is probably an exaggeration, but they lost all their good people, R&D is suffering, their CS is awful, ect. And they're owned by the freedom group...
